Backgrounds and Influence

• Influence & Backgrounds cannot be purchased with XP after character creation.
• They must be gained through roleplay and/or downtime actions. No experience is required to obtain them.
• There is a set amount of each influence in the city. At all times all influence in the city is allocated (none of it is untapped). Chunks of each influence may be held by players, human NPC's, or other supernatural NPC's. Should you wish to gain/raise a given influence, you must somehow take control if it from the individual that currently holds it or in the case of humans have them be your link to the influence.
